Within the General Food Assistance (GFD) project funded by World Food Program (WFP), and in coordination with the local authorities in Eastern Taiz, YFCA just finished
the distribution of food baskets for the eighth round in 2021.
The distribution activity started on Aug 31st aiming to provide food assistance for 163079 beneficiaries of 23297 vulnerable families in the districts: Saber Al-Mawadem, As-Shamayatin, Maqbanah & Mashra'a Wa Hadnan.
This distribution activity for the eastern Taiz was ended on September 14th and is going to be followed by foods distributions in 4 districts in western Taiz and 1 district in Al-Mahweet with a total number of beneficiaries around fifty-one thousand.
