Within the WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by German Foreign Ministry (AA) in
partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) (German Humanitarian Assistance Organization); YFCA has supported four (4) water supply systems with operational support for the eleventh round in three districts of Ataq, Nisab and Jardan in Shabwah Governorate.
In coordination with National Authority for Water and Sanitation (NAWS) and the General Authority for Rural Water Projects (GARWSP), Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) provided fuel support for four water wells (water supply systems) about 6,000 liters of fuel per month in three districts (Ataq, Nisab, Jardan) in Shabwah Governorate.This activity has been started since October 2020 & it will be continue for 12 months for the same four water wells in the same three districts in Shabwah Governorate. The total targeted beneficiaries from this activity are 25000 (About 7000 – 25000 individuals per each month). The activity is aimed to ensure the access of the beneficiaries to drinking water for one year.
